Why did I move to Alaska?
Why not!? I didn’t have a polished reason when I left Florida for the Frontier, but I find a new reason to love where I landed every day. I highlight many of them in my blog!
What do I study?
I’m getting my degree in Environmental Economics and Policy, with a minor in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. In a non-academic sense, I study climate migration, personal finance, the behavioral quirks of relocation, and love checking in on the latest aquaculture research!
What is my mysterious source of income that allows me to travel and do stuff??
I hate to wave away the illusion, but I have a full time job! I’m a researcher and project manager for a non-profit in the economic sector– I love it!
What is a donation-based model?
I create for the commons, not for the coin! I’d like my work to be enjoyed and shared with no obligation of breaking the bank.
